This entry is to give credit to some of the hundreds of committee members that put this race together. Also they are, like most of the volunteers, doing this with little or no recognition.
John with Racewire. They are the timing company that not only takes in the majority of the registrations, but then records everyone’s time and emails/texts it to each runner individually. Along with all this they do many other things that help pull this day together.
Sue and I have had a tradition from my first race while on the committee of getting our picture in my write ups.
She is one of the people that handle the hundreds of people that come into the tent for “race day” registration.
James is one of the people that starts out in the very early, and cold, morning to help set up the course. Him and many others make the course a safe place for all the participants.
Bridget is one of the two main volunteer coordinators. Without the efforts of her and her dad, DJ, placing hundreds of people it could be a chaotic mess.
Ed is one of the newest members of the St. Patty’s committee. But he dove right in an will do anything needed to help make things happen.
The race day was a great success again this year and there are 6 more entries to show you what went on. So check them out.
