This was one of the last pictures I took as I was leaving Whitman. It represents one of the biggest reasons I love this “running thing” we do. I watched these 4 women come to the race, run their races and then spend the day enjoying each other’s company and stories. It’s a beautiful thing and McGuiggan’s Pub along with Paul and all the volunteers gave all that came a great atmosphere to enjoy the day and also help support the One Fund.

I got one of the pint glasses that were given out at registration and I will put it to “good” use. Look at the beautiful sky that mother nature provided for race day.
This was one of the over passes I went under as I made my way home. I just felt the need to capture the moment.Â
“Thank you” McGuiggan’s, Paul and all the great people who helped make my 2nd trip to Whitman another wonderful experience. If you were there, I’ll see you again next year. If you weren’t there, you need to be there next year.
