Hundreds Came To Ride

by altardy on June 9, 2011

The Katelynn’s  Ride drew hundred of bicylists of all ages and talent levels.  The day includes a ride for everyone including 10, 25, 50, and 100 mile courses. You can pick a distance and go for it at your pace. Many people haven’t met Steven(orange vest), who is a co-organizer and course developer for the ride.  Steven and Dan are pictured with friend Rich just before the start of the 50 mile ride.

Some of the ceremonies included a speech from Katelynn’s dad and a ribbon cutting ceremony by one of the cancer research doctors in the area.

When you were finished you could the music from a live band while eating and participating in the festivities of the day.  This event is one that is so well organized all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself Dan, Kim, Steven and others work hard so you can kick back and enjoy.

Come to this ride next year and expect to have fun for the whole family.

There is 1 more entry after this one and check out www.93.1.com for more info from the ride.
